I've discovered yet another fuel leak on my PSD. It is coming out of the what i think is the FPR on the driver side of the fuel filter area. Its round and threads into the the filter housing. On the side that is plastic is the side the wire connects to.
The FPR is a metal assembly on the driver side of the filter, it has two JVC hose fittings that screw into it on the side closest to the front of the truck, they are flex hose, and the a metal tube that come up to the bottom of it into a small filter bowl on the driver side there is a 19 mm brass plug, and a vacuum switch with a wire in it. Hope this describes it well enough for recognition. It is mounted to the side of the filter bowl with two 10mm bolts.
So I just got around to calling International and they only wanted 15$ for this "vacuum switch." I've read on older posts saying it costs anywhere from $52-60 from the stealership. Can there really be that much of a price difference between the two?
