I have a 83 F-150 with a 300 six engine. It has one hundred thousand on the odomotor and just got the engine rebuilt. The machinist said he didn't pay any attention to the specs in the motor manual but it is only getting about ten miles a gallon. What is the correct timing for my engine? Thinking it should get closer to fifteen to eighteen miles per gallon. What say you!
