Unhappy Outside Christmas Lights

Can anyone help me out here, I put up my outside Christmas Light and when I plug them into each other they blow the fuse on the line. I am useing Icesicker light and I plug in 4 strins of them and the only way not to blow a fuse is plug 2 lines and than plug 2 other lines in to differant outlets.

Can anyone tell me how to keep all 4 going and not blow a fuse in one outlet?

Check the wire for staples going thru both wires on a string.

a 25 ft span of 7w bulbs is only 175w x 4 is 600w.

The amperage on 600w is well under a 15 amp breaker.
You have a wiring shorting problem on a string.

The interal fuse (in the string) is only five amps. Is this the fuse that is blowing or as Dennis thinks, the 'fuse' of the outlet's circuit itself?

look on the box and it should tell you how many strings can be hooked together

they "say only x amount can be hooked together, but you can get a bigger fuse, or bypass it altogether.....

Yes I am talking about the fuse in the string ( it is only 3.5 amps). You see allot of home with these on and you know that they do not have a half dozen cords pluged into them.

You have a home 65 feet long you should be able to hock what you need together without blowing a fuse you would think.
