Is anyone else tired of the dark water drip stains on the front grille?
I did this about a month ago and have been watching to see how durable it will be. I used a can of Krylon Fuson plastic paint and a roll of Painters tape - Total cost about 7 bucks.
Yes Kris I know she needs a bath. LOL
What water stains? You drive or leave your truck out in the rain?
I like the look. I'll check back with you on durability. That dull gray on mine doesn't match anything on my truck. May make for a good spring project.
Alan, I did the same thing to my grill a couple months ago, except I painted mine True Blue to match the truck. Anything is better than that dull grey color.
Yea man that is definitely better than the flat-gray!! I'm with Rampage - I've been wanting to paint the gray part of the grill the same color as my truck... Was unsure of how it would hold up though...
Funny, I have my grill off in the garage all taped off and waiting to be painted in the morning, Don't know what color to paint it, White -the same color as the the truck, or black.

Looks good amiller93,
I got the idea from a white Super Duty, his was painted white. Let me tell ya, the white looked sharp!
I was going to do a color match but couldn't find a close enuff match in the type paint I was using. I've seen that white super duty too, the white does look sharp.
looks great alan..i did mine with te same stuff last febuary but i also clear coated it with the plastic clear coat..still looks good and shiny..i also took it one step further and added a vinol screan behind the grill to keep the rocks and birds from taking out my inter cooler and trans cooler..more details in my gallery..
