Lower Grille Panel

Hi Guys . I'm new here so I'll be back often . I have a 54-f100 & 54-m100 CANADIAN trucks . The vin is correct for the f100 but haven't found the vin for the m100 . The lower grille panel in the m100 is wrong ???? The 2 drop sections from the grille are welded to the panel . In the f100 , the panel has cutouts for the grille to bolt into . Also in the f100, the park light housing is about 3 1/2" away from the fenders & it looks good . But on the m100 , the lower panel has a raised section for the light housing that is 2 1/2" away from the fenders . The light housing is off by 1" & it dont look right . Can anyone tell me what year this lower panel is from . Maybe that is the right year of the m100 but somone welded in a 54 grille
Thanks Bruce H

sounds like it is from a 55 or 56 truck. You are right that the 54 had it's very own gravel pan as the grill bolted to it.
