are these IC boots any good ?

I know everyone raves about the Dieselsite boots .. but looking at $200 for them, versus $115 for these .. anyone have any experience with these ? or will they wear out ?

If i'm not mistaken, I think those boots are made of the same material as the stock boots. I think they will work just fine.

filthy and I can hear a small hiss. After what I've read on here, and never getting really high boost, I want to change them out

Makes sense, how much boost can you max out at?

Is that via the attitude or mechanical gauge?

Well I cannot knock the attitude but I believe it gets that reading from the puter via it's sensor. New boots are never a bad idea. If there is no increase, you've lost nothing, and can move on to gauges to confirm the reading. I know the PCM looks at the boost in terms of digits so at least your attitude should be showing you what the PCM sees. That juice may be programmed to avoid an overboost or code setting situation. I don't have one so am only speculating. Think of the customer complaints about tripping the SES light everytime you nail it.

If it's just dirty, get some warm water and laundry detergent and clean em up! These were both as bad as the dirty one, just cleaned one for the picture then cleaned the other ones...

That's what I did. And that's why I asked about his boots. Mine look brand new now.

It doesn't help because you can't see anything and if it is inside the boots where they should be tightly sealed, they could leak. Question, have you checked or tightened all of your boot clamps? I think pulling them off and cleaning then inspecting them will tell you what you need to do. If they look good, put them back on and tighten judiciously. Might try some hair spray too although I did not use any.
