rearview mirror
i want to put a rearview mirror with a digital compass, temp, so on so forth.
the wiring isn't really vehicle specific is it?
it's just a matter of running the cables for the temp sensor and all that.
so would i be able to put a mirror from a tahoe or otherwise non ford vehicle in?

If you get a mirror from another vehicle it will probably have a plug on it to fit that vehicle. If you can find a wiring diagram you could probably wire it into a ford. I don't know how much work this would be, wiring the temp sender and other things. They make aftermarket ones that would come with all the wiring and parts that you would need.
