I recently started having problems with my Mach stereo. Several things began to happen, the most serious of which was that it began to run the battery dead overnight even though the car and radio were off. A local radio repair shop checked the radio and subwoofer amp and said they were ok. He wants to check the main amp and I have seen in some of the postings that it is located in the dash near the console. Exactly where is it located and what is the best way to get to it? Also, has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone have any ideas?
On an unrelated note, several months ago, the rear of the front overhead console (with the temp/mileage display, sunglass holder and light) dropped down about 1" and is just hanging there. I have tried to push it back into place but it won't 'catch' or stay. I have also been unable to find the release to allow me to take it down. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
