not sure what kind of adaptor would have to be built, but perhaps the no-torque engine could actually move the 1900 pound car faster and perhaps more economical than the 60hp flat four (not to bash on the boxers any, great little engines no doubt)

A friend of mine was using 13B rotaries in his tube dune buggy's. I don't know where he got it, but someone does manufacture an adapter plate for this.
The rotaries have alot of hp. He was picking them up for around $75 ea at some local scrap yards. The only $$ he put into them was an intake to use a weber carb & he used (2) MSD-6AL modules.
