I don't know about you guys but, all that junk on the new 6.4 just to meet EPA guidlines makes me want a V-10 with an exterior loudspeaker playing a digital reproduction of a diesel engine. They should have let FTE users mod and abuse the test trucks I can imagine Ford Engineers who simply drove the wheels off the test trucks scratching their head at the guy who modded the truck with a tuner runs it hard but only on the weekends or once a month and then has driveability issues like turbo vane problems or particulate filter issues maybe a nice set of clogged egr valves. A V-10 with supercharger is looking mighty nice.
They've been running this engine up in northern Alberta and B.C. for a while with pretty good success.
Loaner Fusion?? Around here if your pick-up breaks down, you get a pick-up for a loaner... If your cube-van breaks down, you get a cube-van for a loaner...
Have fun driving the loaner Ford Fusion casue the new 6.4 is in the shop for it's variable vane turbo and emissions garbage.
We'd better give him a break. It's obvious from his name there's a pretty good chance you'll catch him crabby. Maybe he's one of the unhappy early 6.0 adopters who has an axe to grind?

Hell, I'd be crabby to if I owned an under powered Superduty that only got 14.8 MPG, tow boss dually guys are getting better than that.
Canada Guy here in the US Ford gives you no loaners. It is actually up to the individual dealers. I wish it was like Acura or Lexus who loan out brand new topflite cars when yours is getting service or warranty work. This is my first Super Duty but, my third Ford Truck. I am the Fleet manager part time IT manager fulltime for my companies trucks (Phillips Seafood Restaurants Ocean City hence the username!!) After seeing the huge load of maintenance and down time on our bullet proof 7.3 powerstrokes I bought the underpowered 14.8mpg 5.4 liter powered F250 as I do not have the money to maintain a powerstroke diesel. Now our old IDI's!!! I have one truck with 300k original motor and c6 tranny now that is a tough truck. beat to heck but, still going.
No Axe to grind just what I have experienced. A couple of my friends roll in Excursions with V-10's or 5.4 Superduties. I want a F250-F550 Superduty with a Cummins 5.9's from the factory and not have to buy a new truck then spend 10k with these guys http://www.fordcummins.com/
Not trying to be a jerk just venting.... I really like Ford and wish they could make better strategic product decisions and have Lexus and Acura like dealers who try alot harder than most local blue oval stores.
You know what the travisty here is..........He's right. My neighbor is the service manager at the Lexus dealer here. There motto is the customer is always right.

Yeah, and my '04 6.0 cost a lot more than my wife's '05 Lexus.
She either gets a car to drive overnight or gets a ride to and from the office. Which is not far away from her dealer. With that said. She has only needed a loaner once and a ride once.
