i have a 95 powerstroke with a dps chip when it starts up in the morning the CEL will come on and idle rough but if you let it warm up it will quit but when it quits you will be driving and you want to stop it will stumble and die like it is running out of fuel could it be the CPS?

best thing to do would be to check that code set when the check engine light came on. That will give us a good starting point.
when you say it warms and quits are you referring to the rought idle or the engine quits? Also when was the last time the fuel filter was done? It could be starving for fuel. Have you tried starting in the stock setting or removing the chip?
