There is a reason why it is called Open Orfice instead of Open Office. Really, the only safe database from exterior hackers is the one with no telephone wire connected to the computer.
What is worse is the data mining. Foriegn governements pay for the name/ss/home town/face connection so when persons of interest come up later they know all about them and know weak spots.
What they do is mine college data BEFORE they are hired by the government because faces never change.
With the face recognition software out there now it must be very tough to hire a clean spy.

Same thing happened to the college I went to......
When they asked me this year for donations, I told tyhen I had lots of money to send them, but had to spend it all on getting my identity baack
