Need help finding Autosprings

I Just got my 04 FX4 and have a list of things to do. I've been reading the forums for the last few days and have found some awsome information from leveling kits to tires to interior mods. I know there was a guy selling autosprings on ebay but he dosent have anything up right now. I have done some searches to find someone who sells them but haven't come up with much. Anyone know who sells them??? I also fornd Top Gun Customs that look very similar. Anyone have a opinion on these??? After that it's Rims and Tires. Thanks

They're on ebay and they do have auctions listed:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZspr...QQfsooZ1QQrdZ0

As for Top Gun Customs, there stuff is quality I'm sure but their lift does not have an offset incorporated into their design so that the upper control doesn't hit the coil spring and full extension of the wheel.

Also you can go to www.autospringcorp.com. They have links to their ebay auctions on their site.

I know that you have to have an alignment (toe) after you install these things. Would it hurt for me to drive the truck for a week until I have it aligned? I would assume that it wouldn't hurt it that bad driving on it for only a week....how bad is the toe?

Exclamation

Brian,
I just installed the autospring 2.5" spacer. Today I got the alignment done after about 400 miles of driving it. I don't think it is a big deal. The toe was way off though! It should be done ASAP.

How was the install??? I want to save the money and do it myself, but I'm worried I'll screw something up. I did get some good detailed instructions though w/ pics from the site here. Any hints or suggestions? You changing tire size too?

Thumbs up Install was easy!

It took me a few hours but I work slow and checked other stuff under the truck out. Easy to follow instructions were included. I sprayed the spacers with a few coats of flat black spray paint also, just thinkin they are gonna see alot of abuse.

Swapped tires yesterday and had the alignment done. I put on BFGoodrich AT 285/75R18. I love these tires, always have. I would have done the 305's but I drive alot and don't want the extra strain on the drivetrain. That size is perfect for me. Like I said the toe was way off. Easily corrected, cost me $39.95.

Good luck and post pics when you are done.

Yeah I would love to see pics too. I'm still tossing around weather I want 285's or 305's on the truck after I put the leveling kit on.

Well I have 285s on my truck (and I do owe the forum some shots of it... 06 Screw). I think that setup will look good with an Autospring kit. While I like the wider profile 305s, they just dont make a ton of sense for very snowy New England (well... most years at least ).
