O.K. The relay box was ripped out on my truck before I got it, but all the relays are intact. I can't figure out which relay is my starter relay. How can I tell which one it is? There are 3 larger ones and 1 smaller one. I know which is the fuel pump relay because I grounded pin #6 on the self test plug and heard it clicking. Is it by any chance the small one? The truck is a 1991 f150 351 with auto trans.

Yes one is the fuel pump relay,
one is EEC relay with yellow wire, red/light green, black and red.
other one could be trailer marker lamp relay if you have trailer tow package yellow wire, white/red, brown and black... got this from 1990 ford electrical and vacuum trouble shooting manual.
Thanks gregfire. I finally ponied up and bought the manual for the truck. It turns out the starter relay is that little bad boy next to the battery. Now I've just got to test it in the morning.
