Fuel problem.
Appears to be a popular topic.
I have a 94 F-150, 300 ci 6, 2wd, striaght stick, EFI.
I bought the truck new.
I ran it out of gas one day last week. Put gas in it from a clean container out of my garage. The last couple days it has been a little sluggish, and hesitant like it is starving for gas. Yesterday I got in it and it fired and then stalled and now I can't get it to start. I don't know if it is starving for gas or not. It does have gas in the tank. I am going to change the fuel filter first because as far as I know it has never been changed. What else should I look for so I have an idea which way to go? It has over 160,000 miles on it, still runs good and burns a clean exhaust.

To find out for sure if it is a fuel problem put a gauge on the fuel manifold at the Fuel Pressure Relief Valve (Schrader fitting) and check the fuel pressure with it not running and pin #6 of the Test Connector grounded with the key on. Should be 50 to 60 PSI.
