front diff blowin oil?

front diff blowin oil?
My brother has a 97 f150 4x4 with a 8.8 front end every now and then (this is the 3rd time)it blows oil out of the breather tube its not over filled and it does it when its in 2wd so does anyone know what would cause this?

It was changed about 5 months ago when he put in a Auburn e-locker.As for how much he said its blowin it evrywhere so a bit i would say.And dont know if it makes a difference but his breather hose is about 2 1/2 ft long.
