hey all, got a question regarding my satillite radio i just installed. well your suppose to go through your FM channels and find a non static station and set it to that.....well i did and it sounds like garbage. i have to crank up my aftermarket cd player just to hear the damn thing. im always hearing static no matter what station i program it to go through! is there an adapter i can go through the rca jacks to the satillite radio so i dont have to hear more static than music? someone told me i can do that but i wanted to cheack with you guys..thanks ---ryan
sirius has an adapter that goes inline with the factory radio antenna. it plugs into the radio and the antenna into the adapter, then there is a wire that runs to the sirius unit.
as long as it has a antenna plug it will work all you do is plug the factory antenna in to the black box pictured above and plug the box into your radio and satillite radio
78 ford what vehicle is it going into? If it's a newer vehicle you can buy a PIE adapter, go through AUX port on factory radio and you will get cd quality sound without all the interference
