Damn it!

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...ight-turn.html

Now it does it occasionally when making a sharp Left or right on dry ground.
Not only on wet ground like before.
Sure feels like it's coming from the front.
Talked to a Ford service advisor of a Ford dealer where I didn't buy my Explorer and he said it it's normal. BULL*****!
Calling my dealer and making an appt for next Tues.

I called and was able to get in Ford Service yesterday.
I told the service manager what the issue was and he then called a mechanic to take a ride to check out the problem.
Fortunately the binding-thumping did occur on sharp turning when stopped and I was glad because it doesn't happen every time.
The mechanic said it's not the posi clutch pack TSB.He said he needed to reprogram the computer which he did and so far the problem seems solved.
I believe he said something in the order that the truck was starting to go in 4WD fora split second and then release when turning and he had to reprogram the computer.
Didn't even have to leave the truck.15 minutes and out.
We'll see if this was the fix....
