5.4 Triton Power Upgrades
#17
I have a 98 with a Vortech supercharger, 42 LB injectors, 90 mm lightning maf, transgo shift kit, magna-flow cat-back and gibson headers. I then had it dynoed and a custom chip done. I am getting about 280 hp at the rear wheels versus 177 hp at rear wheels stock. I am getting ready add a cold air charger they claim 40-60 hp. Very responsive and on the highway I picked up about 1 mpg.

What kind of dyno were you on?
I'm at 318hp on my Procharger at 10.5psi, with similar fuel system upgrades.
My MPG is down. Especially when I'm into the throttle. Which is always.
I don't see how a larger fuel pump, injectors with twice the flow of factory ones, and tune to add significant aounts of fuel can increase MPG. Even a Lightning gets worse MPG than a similar 5.4 shortbed F150. But lots of guys clam increased MPG with a blower so what do I know...
