ok i have been looking a alot a v-8 stuff but earlier 2night i saw something ive wanted. an 83 f150 I6 and i believe it had a 5 speed behind it? for $700. what do u guys think? is it worth it or should i let it go?

I would definitely go for the Ford I6 engine. It is a rock solid built engine that will outlast most truck bodies.

Sounds good, but no 5 spd offered in 83. Probably a 4 spd OD.

Not unless it was swapped in from a later truck. They didn't come out until 1988.

Dont plan on gettin in too much of a hurry but go for it you cant beat the reliabilty.

yep checked it out better 2day its 3 spd w/ OD a little rust but i expected that i even got the price down . $650
