Red face 196X Ford Econo P/U

You have a newbie here. Hi youall.
Starting out with my first new problem. We recently bought a 196X Ford Econo P/U. No title or paper work of anykind. Not sure what we have. Can anyone brake down the serial number for me? It is E10TH265548. Any help will be appreciated.

Here goes. E10 is pick up model.
T is motor which is a 170 CID motor
H is the Lorain assembly plant.
265548 Is the consequetive assembly number making up the rest of the serial number. According to this number your truck is possibly a late 62 or early 63. truck
Hope that helps at clearing some things up for yah.
If jimbare sees this he usually can decipher it better. He would probally be able to pin point the year and month for you.
Oh by the welcome welcome aboard. I hope you will enjoy the FTE club here and make positive use of the resources that can be provided.

Man, that's no joke.

My 62 is getting stripped for paint. It is up on a lift. Boy, that pumpkin is tiny. I think that the one in my lawn tractor is bigger.

I am putting in a 240/C-4 out of a 67 donor van. Fortunately, it has the 9 inch rear end.

I second Jimbare's notes. Looking at my book you have a '62, made in Feb. Good luck with it!!!
