Smile Rear End Fluid

when do you know you need to replace or refill your rear end with fluid??...

my truck after 30 to 40mph starts to vibrate or shake a bit and i'm thinkin it may be the rear end. There appears to be signs of fluid leakin aroind the pan area....not recent fluid but you can tell there was a leak by the old darken oily area around the bolts. Sorta like old oil drying on the pavement covered with dirt or so. HELP!!

Question 2: I'll be in miami and lauderdale sometime this week, where can i find a reasonable ford auto parts store. I need a factory rim and upper and lower ball joints and prehaps other parts for my 4x4 2001 F150 5.4L??....can someone help me out with that info???

thanks all

Well if it is is low then it needs fluid no matter the time period. I'd check it before you drive it anymore or it will eventually lock up after it is driven while dry. NAPA will have the parts you need short of the rim, probably will have to go to a dealer for that or try ebay.
