I fixed my problem on my new 2006 F-150, I traded it back for a power stoke.
I only had 10,000 miles on the 150. Just could not get used to the dam thing.
I am the proud owner of a new 2006 XLT 4X4 CREW. I put 150 miles on it today.I won't look back. I owned a 2002 power stroke but I totaled it and bought the 150.
I own a diesel as we speak. Power or no power. I am tired of the higher fuel prices period. If you do not have a trailer hooked to the back of it 80% of the time. You are waisting your money big time. Give me the nice quit, smooth ride every day of the week. Not to mention the 50 cents a gallon cheaper gas. We won't get into the 6.0 litre diesel thing.
To each their own I suppose. The front end of the F250 doesn't look as sharp as the F-150 does to me but, that is why they make more than one type of truck. As far as the F-150 I have, it seems to have plenty of power and I tow a 5000 pound trailer. Maybe yours was broken.
