You can get rid of it and disable the function in the ECU by a tuning device such as the TwEECer or SCT dyno tuning...
But it has virtually no effect on power and will certainly increase emissions, mainly NOX.

i just wanted to free up a buch of space in my engine and was goin to rebuild and put the trick flow setup on the truch and was wonderin if its really nescicary to have all that stuff
or would it be eaiser to by an older motor and build it that way with no emission stuff on it
