fabtech questions

just got my fabtech in for my 06 reg cab... i have a couple of quick questions for thoose who installed them thereselves.. how difficult was it to modify the driveshaft and did you get balanced.. also my buddy keeps botherin me saying that the kit was suppose to come with rear shocks as well but im pretty sure it does not, can you guys clarify this with us.

You should have 4 shocks, I have not modifyed one myself but I think you just rotate the yokes so they are in line, make sure you install the driveline in reverse direction from stock as in the directions, mine was put in wrong and your sway bar will hit the front knuckle. Also make sure you put the sway bar brackets on the proper way they are stamped with a number on each side that indicates which side they belong on. I have a feeling from a few shops I have talked to that they do not always reballance the front driveling. I think it will make a difference in 4hi at higher speeds if it is out of ballance. Good luck. I have just had to fix many errors that the install shop made.
