cleaned ebp sensor tube

I had been pulling a couple ebp sensor codes and was told to clean the tube and sensor. Today i did and that thing was really clogged. the end that meets the sensor was completely clogged and the sensor was really clogged. cleaned out, cleared the codes, and none came back. Will check again in the morning when it is cold out but hopefully this is solved. Is this something that should be routenly done and how often? My sensor was completely plugged with soot, was it alright to just scrap it out or should i look at getting a new sensor, and if a new sensor is in order where is the best place to get one and how much are they. Thanks

Ponch after seeing how clogged mine was I am planning on cleaning it with tranny flushes. Look at it with AE with key on engine off, the sensor should read 0, most of the time when they fail they will give you a + pressure reading with the engine off.
