Dead on the road NEED HELP!

2003 f350 6ltr I was traveling south on I 35 tonight when I lost power. Felt like the motor was not getting enough air. The problem came and went for about 150 miles then the motor quit. After shutting down for a few minutes I was able to restart and find a motel. Any suggestions? Injectors?

On a 2003, I'd be looking into the FICM wiring or the ICP sensor before an injector problem. It could be an injector, but normally a leaking injector will not restart.

This happened to me also, It was a recall on the fuel rail wiring harness. It starts shutting down injectors, one at a time until the computer says there are enough good ones to make the truck run. Hope this helps.

I changed the fuel filters and got it running. Still feels like I may have a injector down. It's slightly underpowered and sounds different.

Thats a little bit long on the OCI, change the oil and fuel filters and see if there is any change in performance.
