I got my Truspeed tonight, and i went to install it. I was looking for the ABS module, it said to tap into it. Anyone have any detailed instructions on how to get to this monster? I had the battery and battery tray off, and i pulled all of the retaining parts out of the lower fender well, and it would not budge. The instructions said it was below the driver's side battery. Thanks in advance.
I need to get this installed and it's ironic how i've been running 37's on an uncorrected speedo for a month or two now, and the SAME day that i finally get the Truspeed from UPS, i get pulled over for doing a 65 in a 50. I was following the car in front of me at a constant distance, he said the car in front of me was going 60 and i was going 65???? WTF? My speedo showed 52-53 when he clocked me, and he didn't buy the speedo story. Also a long list of inspection citations needed to be fixed. Rear was an inch over illegal. He said by the beginning of next year, they will lower the frame height to 28", and not the bumper height. Considering i have 7" total height difference from stock in the rear, a stock F-350 will be a few inches over illegal, due to the fact that i am 37" now, and a stock truck should be 30". Damn Maryland.
Inner fenderwell, do you mean the one that is in the engine bay, or the one that faces the tire in the wheel well? I tried pulling the one in the wheel well out.
