Got Window Smashed
Well someone broke into my truck by smashing out the driver's side window... Hazards of living in Los Angeles. Fortunatley there was no body damage. I noticed when shopping for a new window, the OEM is 30 or so dollars more. Does anyone know if there is a reason to go with the OEM window. Is glass just glass or is there a factory tinting or other reason I might want to spend the extra money.....

Thanks for the reply...... need truck up and running so it's getting fixed today..... decided to go with the OEM window....... truck is cherry so what's another 30 bucks.... good news is I had them come out and print the truck and they got some excellent palm and finger prints. It looks like whoever looked in, put both hands flat on the door just below the window when they were looking in...... Now, with a whole lot of luck, maybe they will get a match.....
I told the detective if he gets a match, he does need to follow it up ....... Just give me the name......
