Front Mount Receiver

Anyone have a front mount receiver? I am thinking of getting one for a winch mount. It says it mounts where the blocker beam is. I already removed mine.. Anyone have one and willing to take some pictures of it so I can see what it looks like mounted?

Thanks

I know the search feature is gone, but I remember a thread not too long ago about front receivers. I don't think it was with a winch though. The company that is selling it doesn't have pictures of it installed?

Wink Nope . . .

It did not retain the fogs, they added a new light bar for them. It was in the 6.0L diesel section . . .

Bodiak.net states that fog lamps do not have to be removed, and have available winch plates..

Yes, you can keep your foglights with the Bodiak.
https://bodiak.net

The Leed also allows you to keep the foglights.
http://www.leedengineering.com

The Drawtite requires removal of the foglights.

Here ya go.

It's a Draw-Tite. Worked awesome.

It does require you to remove the fog lights, but you do not need the blocker beam.

I was referring to the posting that showed the red truck of BRF250SD just listed here. As you can see, and he states, you have to remove the OEM fog lights. Sorry if you got confused in the discussion.

leave your lights in place

Hello All. I posted a few days ago about a front reciever I saw on a truck that looked real good and the factory fogs were in place. Well I now know that reciever is sold by Warn #70480. I contacted Warn and Todd Wright a technical service rep says in deed that is there little baby. I will say the one I saw installed looked like exactly what i've been looking for. Gotta run, my next letter is to Mrs Santa Claus.

It would be cool if it could be added along with my Westin Sportsman grille guard, mine does not really cover the bumper area.

The only problem I see with the bodiak hitch is that you loose the ability to use the tow hooks, if needed. I know I had to double line my winch back to my tow hooks to get out of that picture above. If I had one of those bodiak hitches, I wouldn't have been ablt to do that, as they clamp onto and cover your tow hooks.

The other thing is, with the bodiak hitch on the SD's, I believe they cover up the OEM fog lights anyways as the hitch comes straight across the area where the lights area.

I guess it will really depend on the use for the front hitch. Mine was more for the winch than moving trailers, so having the hard mount was more important than the fog lights. I guess I really didn't have a problem with lighting anyways. Hehe!
