I am upgrading my stock wheels and tires and was looking at buying a Superlift Truespeek Speedometer Recalibrator for about $180.
I then started looking at buying a tuner because most tuners can recalibrate the speedometer and offer more horsepower for a little bit more money. Because my truck is manual, I don't need the ability to alter transmission shift points as some offer. I want more horsepower/torque but don't care about MPG. If I was worried about mpg i would've bought a car.
I want the most for money. I don't want to buy something cheap and not be happy.
The Edge looks like a nice product, but man its expensive. Is it that much greater than the competition.
My future plans include an aftermarket intake and exhaust.
A lot of F150 owners like the Edge. I think they are getting them for around $350, which I don't think is that bad considering what you are getting. Another option would be a custom tuned xcaliber 2 from Troyer Performance but they are even more.
