MSD datalogging/Edge look-a-like
I saw this in an 07 catalog today, just thought I would share.

Looks good but I wonder if it will have an egt gauge as well. It would be nice to have a monitor that doesn't control a "chip" or programmer. I have the outlook monitor and the service advisors have told me to take it out when coming in for service from now on.

Most monitors don't require you to have a "chip" in your truck's computer, I know for sure the outlook monitor doesn't require one as that is what I have as well. I never once heard the service manager tell me to remove it on my service calls. They also haven't once denied me warranty issues, I had an a/c(which really would have been hard to blame on the tuner) replacement and just recently I was leaking power steering fluid, they had fixed that under warranty as well.

That is strange, the two service advisors that I have dealt with didn't say anything about that. Now the warranty items that I had were not drivetrain related so that is probably why I hadn't been given grief over it. Who knows.
