I was just given an 86 XJ complete. It doesn't run, but all the suspension was just rebuilt. Anyone have information on how to swap the front IRS under a 53 F-100? How about the rear suspension? I'm running a 302 W/AOD on stock suspension now, it goes like H*** in a straight line but I'd like to corner a bit smoother, not to mention be able to steer it easier. Anyone have any knowledge or help? Thanks again folks...

go further down the list on this message board. "55 IFS" has a reply where a guy will send you info on installing a Jag IFS on a F100. I have seen 3 of these done and it is much easier than a frame clip. Are you going to use the Jag rearend too?
Hey Truckfarmer!
Waiting for the reply from further down on the front end. If it doesn't look too unrealistic, I think four wheel independent suspension would be way cool. Good handling, great disc brakes, power steering, I am for sure considering the whole package. Any thoughts?
Thanks again.
