I have a pair of PIAA Super Sporza blades...They were pretty pricey, but had them for over a year and they still work great. I also have pairs of BOSCH ICONS, prices are very competitive with the PIAAs ($40-$50 for a pair) and they work just as good. You also have the option to go with SilBlades and they have like a 7 year warranty ( i can be wrong on this) or go with cheaper blades......
Trico teflon are the best I've used yet. Second would be the Michelin blades. Third would be the Bocsh microedge, which work great when new but wear fast.
I used those new fangled wipers without the metal frame on my last car. Bosch makes a set, so does Rain-X. I like the alot, and they seemed to last a long time. They aren't cheap though, coming in around $17-21 per side. I agree that the Bosch MicroEdge do wear down quicker, but you get a good wiper blade in the meantime. They're down in price too, around $13 each for our trucks. My stock blades have lasted me 14.7K miles and 1.5 years, and are still perfect.
I prefer the BOSCH ICON blades, i use them on all of my vehicles now and they last quite a while! We carry them on our site if youd like them shipped to your door.
I like Rain-x blades. I bought some at wallyworld cause that's all they had in my size, but I was really impressed with how well they worked and how long they lasted compared to other blades I've used. They do seem to come of the windshield a little at fast highway sppeds however, at least on my truck.
I use silblades. i guess there made of silicone and have a 5 year warranty. Cost the same as the bosch micro something. 10 bucks a blade. So far, it works great but it squeaks just a bit when there is just fine mist. I just turn up the radio.
