Need help with smog!!
I just bought a '79 bronco, the 460 in it runs great but it won't pass smog, it has an edelbrock intake and holley 750 carb, with nickel plated headers and 3.5" flowmasters, as far as i know my only option to pass california smog is swap my motor for a newer 7.5L 460 efi, that has smog pumps, o2 sensors and cat.converters, is there anyway to avoid this? I'd rather keep my bored out mostly stock 460, can it be modified to pass? please help!!

I dlon't know what's required in cali, but there are several things you could do to reduce emissions *somewhat*, at least for the duration of the test. 
Did you fail it already, or you didn't even try?
