windsghield washer pump
I have a 1987 ford f150 and the windshiels washer isn't working.
So I checked fuse and wiring and im geting fire it looks like.
I called ford and they wanted $37.50 for a pump which they didnt have in stock.
So I went to salvage yard and took a tank off and brought it back and jumped 1 post to positive post and one to the negative and it didnt work directly off the battery. So After going back and trying 4 more tanks and pumps I never found one that worked.
Am I doing something wrong by checking them this way? I find it hard to believe 5 differnet pumps were bad. Somwe were off explorer which look the sam some were from f150 trucks.
