We have a member working on an experiment that well prove or disprove that very question. However, due to an unforseen circumstances our scientist is gonna be delayed a bit, so in the mean time all we have are some opinions. There are very staunch supporters of the mod and very staunch opponents. Good luck with your quest.

I AM a supporter and have been for the past 74K miles!!!!!

Worth it! Quick and easy mod that can only benefit your motor, may have to change your filter more though.
