Question

heater problem

i got in my truck this morning to go to work,warmed it up and defrosted the windows,the problem is when i moved the selector switch from defrost to floor heat it stays in the defrost mode.can anybody get me started in the right direction on what to ckeck first.thanks

From: St Louis

Check for a bad vacuum line that goes throught he dash. Look between the battery and the firewall for the most common failure location.

Also, identify your vehicle in your post.

Possibly a bad blend door vacuum unit.

did some checking and found vac. hose off near the firewall. thanks for the help
