Leveling kit
Leveling kit
I'm trying to find a leveling kit for my '06 F-350 PSD CC. I just wanted to get some feedback from others that have one, and find out the best brand to buy. Thanks
I have been looking into the same issue. I have found 2 basic kit types by doing a google search. The 1st is a solid piece of billet aluminum that has a hole drilled in the middle and goes under the coil bucket between the bucket and the axle. The 2nd is basically the same idea except it is made from steel plate and tubing. They both sell for around the same prices (anywhere from $50 - $80 depending on where you look for them).
My issue is which is going to be stronger to handle the weight of my diesel and still last for years without any worries?

The kits I found are just the spacers and ne bolts, no shocks like the Fabtech kit. That is probably why they are so inexpensive. The aluminum spacer blocks do look similar to the Fabtech block, and are made of 6061 billet.
I don't think they are the Fabtech's, they just look similar.

I have spacers and they are fine. No issues what so ever. It's a relatively easy install. They're the ones that have the the tube w/ two big washers welded to it for lack of a better description. The're plenty strong and go on top of the spring. I didn't want to lose my stock springs. I was afraid that the aftermarket springs wouldn't hold up to the diesel as well. Also, I got the 2" set up and I didn't change my shocks. I haven't run into any issues. I figured if they leaked, I'd replace them. They haven't...
