vibration at start up

vibration at start up

97 F150 small V8, auto trans, 2wd 135,000miles. Anybody have any idea why I get engine vibration only when I start the engine. Last for about 1-2 seconds. Bought the truck with 75,000 miles on it and its always been that way. Do all small V8 ford do that?

i have the same problem, but mine vibrates when idling. it idles around 700-800 rpm. no check engine lights come on or have been on so i dont know. could be normal but mine didnt always do this soo.........????????

Might need to put new plugs in her... does it just do it when its cold and go away... sounds like poor spark and combustion....worth a shot... plugs are fairly cheap...but it takes hour or 2 to do all of them.... mostly cause of the back 2, there a bit tricky.. also blow ever hole out with compressed air before pulling the plug out to keep dirt from gettin into the cylinder...
