About a year ago my clutch would not disengage ... i took the assembly out and placed a small spacer under the plastic demple cover ??? (not sure what the official name is) But it worked great.
Well now the problem is about to arise again, i have to push the clutch all the way down to floor and then some just to get it in gear when the temperature is very cold .... is all this because of the hydraulic fluid is cold?
Any ideas what i need to do? Is there something more problematic going on. Is my fork clutch fork bent?
I would be more suspicious of a failing hydraulic cylinder, either a clutch master or slave cylinder. You can get the whole assembly, pre-bled and ready to install. From what I hear it's a 15 minute job to replace.
