ck oil pressure light
I have an 04 5.4l that when i start it the oil light will light for a sec and also the mini message center will flash ck oil pressure. than they both turn off and the pressure is where it always is .Is this just a delayed sensor reading?.. It seems that i notice it mostly when it gets cold out.i Just run motocraft oil that i get changed every 3000 or 3 months by the dealer. any thoughts or am i just being a little too concerned over nothing.

Sounds like the oil is thicker because of the cold and it's taking a little extra time to get moving. Are you in a cold part of the country? The manual for the V10 says it takes a 5W-20 Synthetic Blend. Not sure about the V8 so maybe someone else can chime in and help.
