np 205 shift ****...help please
Hi, can anyone tell me what the diameter and thread pitch of the factory np205 shifter is, where the **** mounts? I need a new **** for my truck and found one from a 74 dodge on ebay, but am unsure if it will fit, and dont really want to buy one if it wont. would love any help. thanks

You can use just about any shifter **** with the right thread insert.I think you can buy a pack of thread adapters at any auto parts store.I put a b&m T handle that was made for a stick shift on mine.When your T-case is hard to shift like mine a T handle makes it alot easyer.

Thats nothing. Remeber when Dodge Rams had an actual ram head figurine on the hood all those years back? A friend and I "liberated" one from a fellow student's truck that we didn't like. We drilled it, tapped it, and swapped it out for the stock shifter **** in him Mustang. hehehe
