Holtville would be a long haul for a transmission overhaul. I graduated from Holtville High in 76. El Centro was considered the big city with 20,000 residents. Holtville had about 3,500.

Those are great pix. Did you ever go in to the grocery store on the north end? It is called Modern Grocery.
