Electrical

A while ago there used to be some threads frozen at the top of the list. About front ends, disc brake conversions, electrical, etc...the frequently asked questions, I think. I am looking for the one on electrical specifically. I saw a link to somewhere that had some switches I wanted, but didn't save the site and now I can't find it. If anyone can tell me where to find those old threads I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Kevin

I don't know specifically what he is looking for, but that link is not working for me.

I miss our stickies that pertained to only us with our FAQS.

Kevin,
Can you give us a bit more info? maybe we can help dig it up for you. Either that or let us know what you're trying to do and maybe we can help.

It's actually for my "other" truck, but I need to replace the wiper switch. It's 12V and has two speeds, but I can't find anything that works at the auto parts stores, even Napa. It's just a universal switch, and I saw the same one I have on that website but didn't have time to order it and forgot to bookmark it.

I also need to get a new harness and some switches for the panel. The panel has a 12v battery and then kicks it down so the original gauges still work. Will any harness with enough spaces in the fuse box work?

Kevin,
Check with Painless Wiring, or EZ Wiring for the switch. I think both places have them. both places offer great wiring harnesses also. I chose the EZ Wiring 21 circuit harness for my truck and am very happy with it.

http://www.autorewire.com/ (good tech articles on wiring)

Hope this helps a bit

EZ charges < 1/2 the price Painless does for it's generic switches. The only thing I think is "painless" about them is when they deposit all those fat checks!
I am also very pleased with my EZ Wiring harness and switches.

Thanks for the help. EZ must be the sight I was looking at before. It looks like they have the same switch. Thanks for the help.
