PSD in 86 Bronco
How much of a pain and what would I need if I were to swap a PSD (besides the motor and trans) into my 86 Bronco ? would I need to get rid of the exsisting 4X4 or is there a possibility it could work. I am thinking its a lot of work fuel systems, computers etc. what are your thoughts

It can be done but you would need the whole truck for a donor. You would need all the wiring, computer, tranny(the diesels are geared different than a gasser and the bolt patterns are different). As far as the frame goes you can box it in like I plan to do on my 88 bronco this summer when I plan to put a 6.9 IDI in it along with all the running gear (3/4 or 1 ton which ever I find for a donor). If you have decent fabricating skills and don't mind taking on a duanting task, it can be done, no matter what the naysayers say!
