Anodized brackets?

I'm rebuilding the engine in my 89, and while I'm waiting for some parts to arrive, I decided that I would do some additional clean up. Are the AC and power steering brackets anodized by the factory or has time made them look anodized?

The brackets on my 89 are bare aluminum.

Cool, because I went ahead and wire brushed them to a nice shiney surface.

Hit them with some clear coat to seal them now and prevent them from oxidizing again.
