Went to use my CRAPMAN pressure washer yesterday and when I checked the oil it was WHITE. Drained it, flushed it, re-filled with new oil. Ran for a few hours and checked oil again. White again. The pump does not appear to be leaking. If it is condensation, wouldn't it "burn-off" after a few hours of run time? Any thougths would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim
The seals in the pump are not very good, letting water past into the oil.
Also, some of the newer ones have ceramic seals around the pump pistons, and those will burn up if you run the pump dry for more than 5-10 seconds. You really need to get all the air out of the pump before you fire it up, to prevent running it dry.
