No more than what the brakes will stop without your heart rate increasing.

I have an F-150 2WD 1976 pickup. I have towed an approximate 6000 lb load. It was a U-Haul car trailer and a 1973 Mustang. I can verify that it will tow that load. But I would go slow and I would NOT reccomend going any heavier than that. Also, the trailer had brakes. I wouldn't attempt it without trailer brakes.

Like I stated in those other threads.

It depends on engine /Transmission/axle ratio /trailer hitch specs and whether the trailer has brakes or not.

They do not list towing for manual transmissions

Stopping is the big thing.
