Excursion Colors
None of the below is meant to offend any Excursion owner. It's nothing more than my observations in the region I live in.
Obviously, black is the best looking color on an Excursion. I doubt there's much debate about this fact.
Dark Blue = a black wannabe.
But it's real pretty.
White usually = "I got a good deal" or "soccer Mom".
Silver usually = the cheaper XLT package.
Dark Green = beautiful, second choice to black and dark blue for some people.
The burgundy/red (a/k/a Toreador Red in some Ford lines) = very nice.
But why does FORD label the below as Mineral Gray (color code TK)? To me it's a brownish color, there's nothing gray about it whatsoever.

Recently traded in my '01 Deep Wedgewood Blue V10 Limited for an '05 Toreador Red V10 Eddie Bauer. BTW, I happen to like the White Excursions ... think they're classy. I like the green models, too ... but I don't like any of the XLT models because of all that chrome up front. Heck, I've even been removing chrome from my Harley, and replacing it with painted parts!

ahhh-but the chestnut brown gets better fuel economy,pulls more weight-and has less mechanical problems, oh yeah--and chicks dig-it

There is no such thing as a good looking BROWN vehicle. Brown is the color or dirt and poop.
